Dr. Anthony Yu, DVM

Special Services

After finishing a combined Masters and Dermatology residency at Auburn University in Alabama, I started the first private dermatology referral practice in Portland, Oregon. Within my 11 years in Oregon, I dealt with chronic skin and allergic conditions in dogs, cats and horses. I returned to the Ontario Veterinary College as an Associate Professor in Veterinary Dermatology from 2004-2013, and now have re-entered private referral veterinary dermatology practice in Southwest Ontario for dogs, cats and horses as well as a mobile practice covering Winnipeg and the Atlantic provinces. I have given Veterinary Dermatology presentations throughout North America, Europe and China. I have authored and guest edited publications in various small animal and equine journals and texts. Hobbies include horseback riding, skiing, wine tasting and cooking. My wife, two girls and I are actively involved in the Guelph and Western Ontario Region Pony Club and Pentathlon Ontario. Along with our three dogs, two cats and rabbit, we manage Roma Jade Knoll Stables with 4 of our own horses and several boarders.
